This scene from Jupiter's Darling (1955) is horrifyingly, fascinatingly funny, though I'm not sure I'll ever be able to think of Howard Keel the same way again!! Oh, and although he sang the dreaded "bodice" word, I have to admit I was hugely disappointed when he failed to rip the redhead's bodice. Enjoy:

I loved it! Reminds me of the MST3K movies I have. I love that his skirt is shorter than hers, and that he not only lifts his leg up so she can see right up his skirt, but he also gets on the damn TABLE so she can have a better gander!
Sadly, she looks a little unimpressed . . . and any man who has to repeatedly say he is a man and the master CLEARLY has self-esteem issues! :)
Thanks for sharing!

Always loved Howard Keel--yes, I can remember him, but not at the age he was in the video. Loved him when he was on Dallas. Awesome voice.
Yeah, you noticed she was looking up his skirt? Alas, there were no dangly bits showing for her to be impressed by!
Howard Keel was on Dallas?? (Yes, I'm probably the only person in the country who never watched that show.) Had I known that, I definitely would've watched!
I most loved him when he kidnapped all those women for his brothers to marry in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.
