So, what was there to do but relax?
Here are a few photos from the trip. You can see the rest of them on the album I put on Facebook, and no, you do NOT have to sign up for FB to view them. (Though, if you are on FB, "likes" are always appreciated.)
This was on the ferry ride from Anacortes to the island. That's Mt. Baker in the background.
Sweetie enjoying the beginning of the sunset from one of our rented house' three (!!!) decks overlooking the Salish Sea.
Roche Harbor at the north end of the island.
Sea lions from our whale watching boat. More sea lions, seals, and whales are in the album.
Historic Roche Harbor hotel, where President Theodore Roosevelt once slept.

Sailboat seen from the master bedroom deck.
Now that the summer's nearly over and I'm back to writing, I'll also be blogging more often, so I hope you'll check back for more photos, cards I've made for Operation Write Home, and Tuesday Teaser excerpts from Sea Glass Winter, Shelter Bay #5, which will be published January 1st. You can also make it easier by receiving this blog by email. The sign-up box is at the top of the left hand column.
xo,
JoAnn

So beautiful... and we have missed you...
Welcome back! Your trip looks wonderful, lovely pictures. "See" you at Stars & Stamps!
Thanks guys, it's good to be back. Now, if NAL didn't actually expect me to get back to writing, I could just make OWH cards all the time! lol
I am going to catch up with that, too. Definitely in time for the big Worldwide Card Making Day bloghop on Oct. 6th!
