Although I have a photo to share on St. Patrick's Day, since I've been in an Irish frame of mind this month, this one is of the fog rolling into the famed Cliffs of Moher in County Clare. I took it from the lawn of a castle hotel we were staying in and although we had jetlag from having arrived that morning, after a brief nap, we made the climb up to the top shortly after this photo was taken.
The Cliffs take their name from a ruined promontory fort
“Mothar” which was demolished during the Napoleonic wars to make room
for a signal tower.
Have a great weekend!
