CASology challenge cards

As many of you know, I make cards for deployed troops to send back home through Operation Write Home.  I also make cards for Cards for Hospitalized Kids and am just joining up with Sunshine Mail to send cards to children in hospitals, shelters, and foster care.

Coming off twenty-six days of bronchitis, during which time I was pretty much doing nothing, I was feeling in the mood to make a clean and simple card.  Happily, this week's CASology challenge was one of my favorite design elements: Dot.

So, here's one I made using an OWH sketch:

Also, here are a couple that are super quick to make and handy to have on hand.  I don't use ribbon all that often, but think it works on this design.  The white on all three cards is very bright, but it's often difficult to photograph.

Now that I've crawled out of my plague cave to play a little, it's back to final edits on River's Bend, which will be out this spring.  I'll be back to sharing Tuesday Teasers in February.

Oh, and my brand new shiny website should be going live in just a few days, hopefully by the end of the week. There are a lot of things still in the pipeline I plan to include, but I hope you'll drop by to visit.

Have a great rest of your week!

xo,
JoAnn

I'm so glad you are out of your sick cave. Hope you continue to stay well. I love all of these cards and yes the ribbon does work well on them. Enjoy your week.

Thanks Donna! I still don't have all my breath back, but I'm finally feeling human again. :) I hope to join back to the OWH challenge in February, as soon as I get River's Bend sent off to the audio narrator.

You poor "thing" - that's a LOT of days not feeling well. How you're on the mend now. I HATE winter because I always catch a bug and end of coughing for what seems like MONTHS. In Denmark we had a mild winter this year and it is absolutely OK with me. Greetings from Denmark and the Danish OSH - and back to making cards again. =0)
