I too have someone special I remember on Memorial Day. His name was Lt. Col. Mark Stratton and he was killed 3 years ago on Memorial Day by an IED in Afghanistan. I lived next door to him as a child, he was my first crush and I am honored to have been able to call him friend. This year i will remember your friend as well!
